Use description

XLPE insulated cables use chemical or physical methods to change the molecular structure of cable insulating polyethylene from a linear molecular structure to a main network molecular structure, that is, thermoplastic polyethylene is transformed into a thermosetting cross-linked polyethylene, thereby greatly improving its performance. Excellent heat resistance and mechanical properties, reducing its shrinkage, making it no longer melt after being heated, and maintaining excellent electrical properties.

Scope of application

★ System: This product is suitable for fixed laying in the distribution network of AC 50HZ, rated voltage 3~35KV or industrial installations.
★ Occasion: It is used for the underground power grid of urban building districts, the outgoing lines of power generation and substations (stations), for power transmission and distribution. For example, it can be used in power distribution and other places inside industrial and mining enterprises.

Features

★ Rated voltage: The rated voltage is 3 ~ 35KV.
★ Working temperature: The maximum allowable long-term working temperature of the cable conductor is 90°C. When short-circuited, the maximum temperature of the cable conductor is 250°C, and the duration does not exceed 5s.
★ Ambient temperature: The minimum ambient temperature for cable operation is -10°C.
★ Laying temperature: When installing and laying, the temperature should not be lower than 0℃.
★ Bending radius: When the single-core cable has no armor, it is recommended that the minimum bending radius of the cable installed is 20D. When the single-core cable is armored, it is recommended that the minimum bending radius of the cable installed is 15D. When the three-core cable is armored, it is recommended that the minimum bending radius of the cable installed is 12D.
